I'm back, kind of! By which I mean: here are some pictures of me wearing a dress and looking a bit more like my usual self than I have done for the last few outfit posts.
I thought we were going to get a big storm not long after these photos were taken, but it never came. The sky went really dark and I was pleased as punch with the results! As you can see the sun was still really bright in my eyes despite the dark sky! (squinty squint).

These are fantastic pictures, and the light is incredible – intensely dramatic and yet poetic!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant photos!!!!! I just love the contrast of the black sky against the golden fields, such a magical setting. I love how perfectly your plaid dress fits in with a rural backdrop :)
ReplyDeleteLove the colors in this darling dress, and that stormy sky! Beautiful. I can't believe it didn't actually storm!

The lighting - wild, saturated, and deeply powerful - in these lovely photos is sensational. I adore a dramatic summer backdrop like that and hope we get a similar storm's-a-coming sky this summer so that I can follow your lead and do a shoot against it, too.
