Here are a few more photos from my recent shoot with Kevin from retro-images.com and Jac from Tip Top Hair Design. Thank you all for the lovely response to my last set of photos - I hope you enjoy these ones too. They are in more of a 50s style compared to the last ones - I have tried to replicate the hairstyle a few times as it's so pretty and great for everyday, but also easy to dress up for more formal events. I can't do it like Jac can do it, though!
Please check out retro-images.com for more of Kevin's work, and see the Vintage at Tip Top Hair Design Facebook page for more examples of Jac's hairstyling as well as some information and dates for events she will be attending with her pop-up vintage salon.

You are so beautiful! These photos really capture it - great dress too (I have the same one!). I do like the hair, is it a ponytail that's then pinned around?? I would like to try and copy it, I might have to put the dress on as well and completely copy you.. ha! Only kidding. P x
ReplyDeleteIt's a ponytail with hair pinned around to cover the hair tie, but the actual ponytail itself is not pinned in place, just curled under :)
Deleteoh, i love these! You are absolutely gorgeous, dear gal, and so very inspiring!
ReplyDeletei love your dress and hairstyle. That is the perfect 50s ponytail. i might have to try if for this summer!
Also, you look great in red, it goes with your complexion and hair color well.
so neat that your modeling is doing well :)

Immensely lovely photos - and of course, model (you!). I really like the last two shots in particular. You look like a mid-century Hollywood starlet en route to fancy party or gala event with your black fur draped over your shoulders and your hair all swept up off your face.

Loving these photo shoots. Can't wait to see what's next!
ReplyDeleteWas just having a nosy around your blog and had to stop to say what gorgeous photos - and that hairstyle is divine. I notice you say above that the curls aren't pinned, but this gives me the good idea that they could be, which would be great for them holding all day long... much to ponder! CC x
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great idea, especially for my hair which doesn't hold a curl very well :)
